Adult Immersion

Brief History

Adult Immersion programs focus on teaching young adults who are committed to learning their language. Often, learners will not yet be parents, and learn their language so they can help teach their future children.

Programs in Alaska

There are no known (to the authors of this website) Adult Immersion programs in Alaska at this time. At one point in time, the Alaska Native Heritage Center offered adult immersion classes. You can find other Adult Immersion examples in Native languages.
